Born and raised in Lewistown, Pennsylvania Dr. Matt has been surrounded by chiropractic since the day he was born. With two chiropractors for parents, it was inevitable that he would begin to live a lifestyle culminated in a love for science, as well as health and fitness. An avid tennis player through high school, he went on to attend Lafayette College and represent the Leopards as a member of their tennis team while pursuing a degree in biology. While at Lafayette, Dr. Matt got the distinct opportunity to work on cutting edge research in the world of cancer biology, which led to a publication in the journal of immunology.
After graduating from Lafayette College, he went on to Boston, MA to further his research background working for Joslin Diabetes center as a research assistant. However, plans changed when COVID-19 changed the landscape of the world in 2020, which ignited his intrigue for homeopathic medicine and a desire to heal his local community. Dr. Matt quickly sent in his application to Palmer College of Chiropractic, his parents’ alma mater, and began his chiropractic education in September of 2020.
During his time at Palmer he worked as a tutor for 1st year students for classes such as cell biology and immunology. He also worked as a teaching assistant for physical diagnosis’ and neuromuscular systems. In his final trimester, Dr. Matt was invited to be the chiropractic teaching assistant by his attending doctor, working to aid his colleagues in fine tuning their adjusting techniques and help with difficult cases. He graduated in February, 2024 magna cum laude.
Dr. Matt is beyond excited to be returning to central Pennsylvania to serve the community that he grew up in!
Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Matt is still an avid tennis player, but has also picked up golf and has completed 2x marathons while attending Palmer. He is currently training for his first half ironman and is planning on tackling a full ironman in the near future.
